Thanks Lucy and Nicol for your kind words.  I'll remember you both in my Oscar speech.

Andrew, you have gone up in my estimation.  Just when I thought that you were a mad paranoid schizophrenic, you redeemed yourself and your sanity by offering an honest and frank reply.  I doff my thespian cap to you for avoiding being typecast and choosing to try another role.  Ooooh, suits you sir.

All the best,
Chris

To Andrew - respect man. Innit. Takes guts to apologise.

To Lucy's comments  I would add  "And so say all of us."

I am sorry for what I wrote about you both! It was pointless and stupid of me! Thankyou to the people who put me in my place............it needed to be done and I whole-heartedly agree with what you all wrote!! Sorry Fozzie and ChrisBall!!!

I would just like to say that I am terribly glad that Chris answers everything because his statements are witty, thoughtful and intellgiant and there are few with whom I would rather verbally duel!
Thankyou Chris for being amusing and worthwhile.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear . . .

Andrew Grant, what can one say?

I am not addicted to "My Fair Lady", nor am I addicted to this forum.  I am somebody who cares passionately about theatre and all things related to theatre.  This board was set up for the benefit of anybody who wished to use it to share, contest, discuss or slag off anything and everything associated with "My Fair Lady".

Freedom of speech is the whole ethos of the internet.  Some people get their kicks from gawping at pictures of naked women or/and men.  Others get their kicks from discussing engine modifications in their cars.  In comparison, my interest could be deemed positively healthy.

Your message was not very eloquent, nor was it particularly enlightening.  You may think that I am sad to reply to "everything".  However, I would argue that it is probably sadder to venture into a harmonious forum where good healthy discussion is taking place and waste twenty-six words of the Queen's English uttering such absolute drivel.

The fact that you had to clarify that your message came from "the brain of GRANT" was a useful addition, since I got the distinct impression that all that crap had come straight out of your backside.  Brains.  backside.  In your case, I doubt if there is much of a difference.

If you want to berate me for being a regular contributor to this forum then that is your prerogative.  I really don't care.  Unlike your goodself, clearly I am able to devote my time to chipping in with discussion.  For you to actually bother writing such puerile toss, suggests to me that it is in fact yourself who is sad.

I am happy with who I am.  Are you?

What was it that bothered you about my musings?  Was it the fact that I am trying to maintain and generate discussion?  Did you object to the "My Fair Lady/Martin Guerre" script?  Is there some form of subliminal jealousy that your poor little head can't quite get over?

Without wishing to sound elitist, I am confident that my credentials justify my opinions.  I believe wholeheartedly in everything that I say, even if I do play the devil's advocate on the odd occasion, and I am certainly not going to stop contributing to this forum just because you wet your nappy and throw a hissy fit over it.

If you have a problem, click your the button in the top right of the screen to exit.

All the best,
Chris

(This message came in response to the "brain" of GRANT.)

I feel unloved, or unhated, or unappreciated, or something like that!

Really, to pick on Chris and not pick on me is unthinkable!

This has been a product of the brain of Mme B -- feel free to disregard my sarcastic rambling here.

'she's a dog'. I thought this site would attract adults with a better grasp of vocabulary and less mindless arrogance. Sorry...I was wrong!

What's up luvvie, did someone break your play station? This is a forum where theatre lovers, actors, writers, fans etc can meet to discuss My Fair Lady. Maybe you wandered in by mistake on your way to Tele tubby land? Either that, or you're Tony " when I want your opinion I'll give it to you" Blair...
Run along, buy a dictionary and check out the meaning of discussion forum. There's a dear.

>This message came from the brain of GRANT
