Michael trained at the Manchester Metropolitan University where he played the parts of John in Oleanna, Man in Night, John in A life in Theatre, Barry in Saved, the Archbishop in Edward II, and Robbie in Shopping and F**cking.

Other theatre credits include Miss Great Plains in Pageant at the Vaudeville Theatre and Kings Head Theatre and Paul in Salt of the Earth at the Knutsford Theatre. Most recently Michael understudied Chris in the original touring production of Miss Saigon, leaving to play the Prince in Sleeping Beauty at the Corn Exchange in Newbury.

Film credits include Simon in Simon and Sheila for fluid Television Productions and Rowan in Ordinary Normal for the University of Derby.
